Fees/Insurance

Fees:  The Initial visit fee is $125 and subsequent visits are $95.  I offer discounted fees for patients who have Medicare.  These fees are $120 for the first visit and $90 for subsequent visits.  I accept all major credit cards/debit cards, checks and cash.

Payment

It is important that we collect payment in full at the time of service. This keeps administrative and bookkeeping costs down. If you are unable to pay our fees in full at each visit, please discuss this with us at the time of your first visit and we will offer you a payment plan. It is my policy to help patients get well and to work with you regarding financial needs.

Insurance : I do not accept “assignment” to insurance companies. This helps to keep my fees down. Instead I give you a bill  to submit to your plan.

In order to find out if your policy covers Acupuncture, call your insurance company and ask them to send you a copy of their regulation regarding Acupuncture. Many insurance companies do not give the correct information over the phone. Some companies limit the number of visits, or will cover Acupuncture only for certain conditions. Sometimes they say they do not cover Acupuncture, yet they will if your physician recommends it. If you have any questions or problems regarding reimbursement for our services, please let me know.
